Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of photos and other content you submit. You give Golden Hour a limited, nonexclusive license to host, reproduce, resize, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service according to your sharing choices. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for brief backup, safety, or legal retention where required.

Only share content you created or have permission to use. Do not reveal another person's precise location or private information without consent.

Community rules

Do not post nudity or sexual exploitation; hateful, violent, threatening, harassing, bullying, or self-harm content; illegal activity; impersonation; privacy violations; malware; spam; or content that infringes intellectual property. Golden Hour is for sunsets and the people sharing them—not anonymous abuse or sexual content.

You can report a photo or block its author from the photo safety menu. Reported content is hidden from you immediately and reviewed. Repeated reports can automatically remove content from discovery while it is investigated. We may remove content, restrict features, preserve evidence, or suspend accounts to protect people and comply with law.

Service and termination

The service may change, experience interruptions, or end. Do not rely on sunset calculations or notifications for safety-critical decisions. You may stop using Golden Hour and delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risks, or legal requirements.

Disclaimers and liability

Golden Hour is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every sunset time, location, or user submission is accurate. To the extent permitted by law, Golden Hour is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the service.

Apple terms and contact

When downloaded from Apple, Apple's standard licensed application end-user license agreement also applies where relevant. Apple is not responsible for Golden Hour support. Questions, safety concerns, and legal notices can be sent through the support page.
